Decent place to grab lunch. My patty melt was perfectly acceptable, but nothing special - you'd get the same (plus or minus 5 percent) at Denny's. Fries were bland and needed a lot of salt. The chocolate shake was good, but not exceptional, despite the sign in the window bragging about how thick it supposedly was. Service was fine. No need to avoid this place, but no need to seek it out either. For a better diner experience, go to The Original Mel's.

Pancakes! This is a lovely local diner with a large following of regulars who sit at the counter. Extremely friendly service. Fresh pie every day. Breakfast all day!
